Product Information
The Ring Binders we supply are usually made to order and no
two are exactly the same. The main types are:
PVC
PVC binders can be screen-printed or foil blocked on the outside
or have clear pockets on the front and or spine into which
litho or digitally printed title cards can be inserted.
Polypropylene
This type can also be screen-printed or foil blocked on the
outside and being transparent a litho or digital inner wrapper
can be riveted in to sit under and show through the polypropylene
outer cover.
Paper over Board
This is a superior system for more upmarket applications where
all surfaces are covered with a fully printed wrapper with
another printed or plain sheet to line the inside.
Mechanisms
All types have a ring mechanism to hold the sheets, they are
either:
O type riveted to the spine or D
type, which is riveted to the back cover, this has
the advantage of keeping the spine clear for printing or a
card insert.
Mechanisms are quoted by the number of rings usually 2 or
4 and the capacity of the rings. This is quoted in terms of
the total height of the material they will comfortably hold
in 5mm increments, 15mm being the smallest readily available.
Tab Dividers
Tab dividers are made in flights of so many tabs to view the
length varying according to how many need to be accommodated
within the depth of the page. The tabs can be various shapes
and depths to suit the requirements of the job.
Setting up artwork
Set up the document to the finished page sizes and supply
in consecutive pages, not printers or readers pairs. Add folios
(page numbers) to all pages. |
