When
we give an estimate for a print project from digital artwork
we give it on the basis that the files supplied will
be compliant with the guidelines given in 'Your Guide
to Digital Artwork' pages.
Our estimates include the following operations
as standard:
1. Checking your document's dimensions
2. Checking that document colours are as clients order and
that bleed is allowed if needed
3. Checking that all images have been sent and updated in
the document
4. Checking that all the required fonts have been received
5. Checking that the document matches the laser print supplied
and has not re-flowed text
6. Making minor adjustments
They
do not include:
1. Altering your job to fit the correct dimensions
2. Adjusting images, duotones, or cutouts
3. Checking spelling
4. Altering spacing used in page make-up or weight and colour
of headings, etc
5. If we spot minor problems we will correct them, but if
a lot of time is involved we will contact you and ask if you
want to pay an additional charge for us to carry out the work
or do this yourself and re-supply your document.
